Master Systems and Control
Systems and Control is an active research area in both the scientific and industrial world. It has become an important discipline in many fields, and one in which Dutch researchers play a leading role. Graduates in the systems and control field become specialists with knowledge about control systems for complex industrial products and systems. Systems and control can be applied to a wide range of systems. Applications can be found in mechatronic systems such as those used in DVD players, pick-and-place positioning systems and robotics as well as in automotive, energy and (chemical) process industries. But also in the realization of ITER, the largest nuclear fusion test reactor in the world. The discipline can be applied to a wide variety of systems and the field has thus a very versatile character.
