Applied Engineer
The Applied Engineer delivers technical support and consultancy to local support organizations and customers. Goal is to ensure an optimal application of high-tech solutions and devices in the client’s manufacturing process, the fastest possible ramp with the introduction of new technologies/ systems or solves problems in the clients fabric. The Applied Engineering is the key in ‘making it work’ at the customers site in ICT and semicon related businesses. He/she organizes the necessary feedback loops with his/her own organization to further optimize the (integration of this) new technology/ system/ devices or solve problems in a later phase of the implementation. The innovative and top tech character of this line of work requires specific engineering and/or software skills (product knowledge) combined with a customer focus (tailor made consultancy and support).
