Microbiologists
As a microbiologist you perform research to gain a better understanding of fundamental life processes or apply that understanding to developing new products or processes. You investigate the growth and characteristics of microscopic organisms such as bacteria, algae, or fungi. Medical microbiologists study the relationship between organisms and disease or the effects of antibiotics on microorganisms.
