The chips inside virtually all of today’s electronics, from tablets, to smart phones and medical devices, are patterned with Cymer deep ultraviolet (DUV) light sources. Faster, smaller, and more powerful future electronics will be patterned with extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light sources that Cymer is developing and installing at leading chipmaker sites. Cymer laser crystallization tools are used by flat panel display makers to produce the most advanced displays for mobile devices, and in the future, televisions.
